Inspired by Ali Edwards Day 5, I decided Day 8 was a good day to go with a 'no photo' day.
A few days ago (ironically on day 5) my teen son Chad left this note for me on my typewriter -
I wanted to document this and more 'Chadisms' and include them in this album - each has been said or discussed or typed during the first week of December.
Here is how that documenting appears in our family album:

Double page spread prior to adding a DIY Transparency:
I had a few stamp sets out, all designed by Ali Edwards and had a little spare time so went ahead and made another transparency. My thoughts were on overlaying it to obscure the journaling slightly. Those not interested can flip the overlay and the page and move on to the next day, those interested can flip the overlay and have a read.
This transparency uses Stazon Opaque white ink and one of Ali Edwards Story stamp sets on a clear acetate sheet. This is by far my most favourite DIY transparency to date.
and how all of this appears in our family album:
Thank you for joining me again on this journey through December, documenting each day.
More information about this project and its creator can be found here.
Such lovely memories to have documented.

Fantastic Michelle. Love the stamping on the Vellum and on the transparency. And what a lovely note to be left on your typewriter. Too cute.
